For the second day in a row, I have successfully gotten up 30 minuets earlier than the norm, and dedicated that time to a creative-something. Rather than fanfic, I went for drawing today. I've been playing lately with trying to combine sumi-e ink and acrylics, which is fun, but rather time consuming.
Because this is my sketchbook, and I'm still trying to get myself to take more risks with my art in an effort to expand, I'm sort of considering seeing what will happen if I pull out my colored inks, and try layering that as a wash or something on top of the acrylic. If it goes well, I think it might help with the illusion of depth I'm going for with the colors, and if it goes badly, I'll likely call it quits for that page, and move on to something else after uploading it to my still incomplete sketchbook section.
